As the Regional Vice President, Serena Dickerson (Ferrer) is responsible for the direction and oversight of advertising sales functions for Comcast Spotlight’s South Region. Her responsibilities encompass managing the local, regional and national sales efforts, while driving change, transformation and strategy execution to achieve company-wide goals. She is intently focused on overseeing the professional development of her executive leadership team, and works to ensure that her 160+ team members throughout the region understand the value of their contributions to the organization.
Serena began her career in Jacksonville, FL., where she spent 16 years in the broadcast TV and cable space, driving inbound media sales. A 16-year veteran of Comcast, Serena began her career at Spotlight as Director of National Sales, overseeing the launch of Interconnect advertising sales strategy throughout the former Southern Division.
Serena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Jacksonville University. She is a graduate of Spotlight’s 2010 Women in Leadership program and a recipient of Comcast Spotlight President’s Club Leadership Award.
A Georgia native, she currently resides in Roswell, GA with her spouse and two children. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis year round in leagues throughout Atlanta, cooking with her family and traveling.
