Seth Arenstein

Seth Arenstein joined Time Warner Cable’s Government Relations team in June 2011, bringing with him the experience of an award-winning 25-year career in journalism, the last 13 years as Assistant Vice President and Editorial Director of CableFAX. 

At Time Warner Cable Seth is helping to tell the company’s story to the policy community and other constituencies via speeches, presentations, white papers, and internal publications.

While at CableFAX, Seth helped build the brand’s various awards programs, magazines and its daily publication, CableFAX Daily. Prior to his work with CableFAX’s magazines and awards programs, he was Editor of CableFAX Daily and later Editor of CableWorld Magazine. He left CableFAX as the most decorated reporter in the company’s history, having won more internal editorial awards than any journalist. He continues to freelance for CableFAX.

Seth began his career as a reporter specializing in space and Soviet defense at Defense Daily, where he rose to White House Bureau Chief and eventually became the Daily’s Editor. During his tenure as editor of Defense Daily, the publication captured several national awards, including two from the White House Correspondents Association.

Seth Arenstein is a magna cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received an M.A. from The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of The Johns Hopkins University.

In his spare time, Seth plays trumpet in orchestras and bands and serves on the boards of the Eclipse Chamber Orchestra and the Washington Conservatory of Music. He lives in Arlington, Virginia.
