Shannon Andrews

Shannon Andrews is an aspiring executive desiring to lead a business analytics community-focused team as the ‘source of truth’ in data-driven decision making, operational strategy implementation, and performance measurement. She came to Comcast in November 2016 and leveraged her inexperience with Comcast as an opportunity to learn the business, grow her network, and build her brand.

Shannon was quickly recognized as one of the top 5% of Comcast Central Division’s 20,00+ employees and selected in 2018 to participate in Comcast’s Linked2Leadership 6-month high potential professional development program designed for training and empowering the next generation of Comcast leaders. She mentors several individuals internally and externally and developed and launched a self-paced advanced analytics and data visualization training program which is available to over 190k employees to support others in their technical development skills.

A pivotal shift for Shannon was when she decided to raise her hand and initiate the build-out of the new MyAbilities ERG for the Big South. Her passion and good heart for people and collaboration, along with her strong desire to grow herself professionally, set her on a positive path forward. Shannon has been an active member of The WICT Network Southeast chapter since she started at Comcast having volunteered in various capacities. In 2021, she was awarded The WICT Network Southeast Rising Star for Emerging Leaders Red Letter Award and elected to the 2022 Board of Directors.

Shannon resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband of 10 years and two children and has wrapped up her first book about being your biggest fan as you journey through your career. She is a strong advocate for mental health and is currently writing a book about her mental health journey and how she has used it to elevate her career aspirations.
