Regional Vice President, Field Operations – West Region Charter Communications

Shannon is currently the Regional Vice President, Field Operations – West Region, for Charter Communications. The West Region is the company’s largest, serving more than 8 million homes across Arizona, California and Hawaii.

During her 20+ years in management at Time Warner Cable/Charter Communications, Shannon has gained experience in all aspects of residential services. From 2018 to July 2022, Shannon served as Regional Vice President, Field Operations – Carolinas Region, where she and her team earned the title of most improved region for the past two years for their improvements in workmanship and plant performance.

From 2016 to 2018, Shannon led the Midwest Central Management Area in the Southern Ohio Region, heading a team of more than 1,000 employees serving nearly 1 million customers. In this role, Shannon bolstered several key performance metrics by instituting operational task forces and increasing employee and leadership accountability.
Prior to 2016, Shannon held several operations leadership positions with Time Warner Cable, including Area Vice President of Operations, Midwest Central Area and Regional Vice President, Southwest Ohio, from 2010 to 2016. She earlier rose through Time Warner Cable’s customer care organization in a series of positions with increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as Vice President of Care from 2008 to 2010. She began her career in telecommunications as a Customer Service Supervisor with Media One in 1998.

Shannon is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Indiana University and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, as well as an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is a former member of the Ohio Cable Telecommunications Association; a board officer for The WICT Network, where she received the “On the Go Award – Woman to Watch” in 2011; and is actively involved in mentoring future leaders.
