Shannon Orcutt is the Vice President of Finance, Residential Services for the West Region, Time Warner Cable. In this role, Shannon is responsible for ensuring alignment between the strategic direction and the financial plan and overseeing the budgets and forecast for the West Region of Time Warner, which includes the Pacific West, Texas and Midwest markets.
Prior to assuming her new role with the West Region, Shannon was the Vice President of Finance for the Central Texas Division where she was instrumental in deploying key tracking measures to pro-actively monitor activity and forecast business results. Shannon’s keen business sense and financial acumen serve her well in her role as financial advisor and her counsel is often sought by the leadership team. She is gracious in sharing her insight and challenges others to think creatively when problem solving.
Shannon began her career overseas, as the Assistant Controller for Motorola Semiconductor in Tel Aviv, Israel. Upon her return to the United States, Shannon joined the Cable and Telecommunications industry where she has held various senior level finance and operational roles. She has 15 years of industry experience and is known for her strategic focus.
She holds a BS degree in Finance from The Ohio State University and an MBA degree from Pepperdine University. Shannon is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and was recently awarded the Star of the Year, at the 2011 Lone Star Awards Gala Event for the Greater Texas chapter of WICT. Shannon also has served as a Board Member for Meals on Wheels and More in Austin, Texas.
Shannon’s new role has required relocation back to her native California and she is now busy re-establishing her home base in the Manhattan Beach area.
