Sharee Mervilus

As the Communications Manager for Service Assurance at Cox Communications, Sharee Mervilus is responsible for the strategic planning, structure, dissemination of internal and external organizational communications, and knowledge management portal. With over a decade of experience, Sharee is a multi-faceted IT professional who is driven by results, quality, and innovation.

In 2018, Sharee established a structured approach towards communications for Service Assurance. With a focus on driving the business forward, Sharee designed and implemented innovative communication concepts that formalized the Service Assurance brand. Her strategic vision and desire to enhance the experience of internal customers drove her to streamline the work intake process and introduce the first multi-disciplined approach towards knowledge management within Service Assurance.

In 2012, Sharee formalized vendor governance processes with data driven analytics – measuring quality, costs, and responsiveness while ensuring operational maturity as a Process Manager for Service Assurance. With a methodical approach towards vendor discipline, Sharee established vendor standardization, continuous improvements, and vendor accountability – amplifying the voice of the business.

Sharee joined Cox Communications in 2000 as an E911 Specialist where she had the opportunity to meet with key senators such as Hillary Clinton on Capitol Hill and in 2005 became a Senior Analyst where she supported various Cox products, interfaces, and gateways.

Sharee is certified in Six Sigma Green Belt, Statistical Process Control, and Project Management Methodology and was recognized for earning the distinction of Dean’s List at Grand Canyon University.

Sharee is a self-motivated enthusiast who is a firm believer in nurturing and building relationships. Sharee enjoys spending time with her family and mentoring young adults in the community. She currently serves as the leader for the Adventist Youth Society and is a member of the Latino, Women’s, and African American Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at Cox Communications.
