Sharon Teano-Evans

Sharon Teano-Evans started her career at Showtime Networks in 2013 and is currently the Director of Program Distribution.  In this role, Sharon is responsible for the worldwide digital distribution for Showtime, including Smithsonian’s library of content.  Sharon has held a variety of roles over the course of her career trajectory, starting as an illustrator at a video game company, to being recognized among the first female DVD authors in North America in her role at Vidfilm International (later acquired by Technicolor).  She later served as Director of Production Operations at Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory focusing on Blu-ray distribution.  Always keen to expand her knowledge base, she took on a role outside of entertainment as a project manager at TASER International (now AXON), developing the new law enforcement body worn cameras and digital evidence management system.

Sharon is excited to participate in WICT’s 2019 Rising Leaders Program and is looking forward to learning from other professionals in the industry.

Sharon graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree and currently resides in Huntington Beach, CA with her husband and dog, happily pursuing her passion for food and traveling.
