Sherry West, is currently the Director of Direct Marketing for Charter Communications. Her primary responsibility is managing the direct mail efforts for acquisition and upgrade marketing campaigns reaching Residential and Small Medium Business customers for Mobile, Internet, Video & Voice services. Sherry manages a team of production professionals and external vendors who produce approximately 700 million pieces of direct mail annually. She joined Charter in 2017 as a Director in Marketing Communications where she focused on developing strategies to execute legally required notifications to existing customers. Many campaigns required multiple tactics spanning print, digital and telemedia tactics. The team she managed executed thousands of projects each year through internal partners and external vendors. Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a passion for individual development, she is a trusted mentor and coach.
Sherry has also served as the Communications Co-Lead of the Spectrum Women Business Resource Group since its inception. She generated concepts to engage members and attract new ones having pioneered initiatives such as “Employee Spotlight”, “Executive Video Series”, “Weekly Wisdom”, “Reading Roundtable” and “Member News”.
Prior to joining Charter, Sherry worked primarily in Marketing Services and Customer Engagement where she was responsible for marketing strategy, project management, creative planning, production and fulfillment for acquisition and member communications via direct mail and email. She led a team that managed a roster of 40 vendors, monitored KPIs, and negotiated procurement contracts.
Raised in upstate New York, Sherry attended Hartwick College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics. She lives in Fairfield County, CT with her teenage son and their three furry family members. In her spare time, Sherry’s favorite past times are watching her son play baseball, going to sporting and cultural events, baking, and entertaining.
