For the past 22 years, Shirley Hehn Weibel has been involved with the Cable and Telecommunications Industry. Her career path has consisted of Customer Service Representative, Lead Customer Service Representative, Office Operations Manager, District Manager, Operations Manager and Director of Operations for Wisconsin.
Her current responsibilities, as the Director of Operations for Charter Communications in Wisconsin, include general management responsibilities which consist of overseeing day-to-day Customer Care operations and overseeing Technical Operations. The operation encompasses over 500 communities throughout Wisconsin and portions of Illinois and Minnesota which represents approximately 500,000 customers and 200 employees.
The Wisconsin system is consistently listed among the top three operations companywide and was ranked number one throughout Charter in key operating metrics for fourteen consecutive months.
Shirley has served on the Wisconsin Cable Communications Association, Committee Member 2009 – A “Senior Prom” La Crosse, Cancer Fundraiser “Steppin’ Out in Pink”, Ladies Day Oktoberfest Club, Rotary Club, American Business Women’s Association, La Crosse/Onalaska/Winona Area Business Associations, Chaired Local Flood Relief Efforts, Partnered with Gunderson Lutheran Foundation for Children’s Miracle Network telethon for 11 years, Religious Education teacher and Pageant Director. These organizations focus on projects that improve the growth and development of the communities Charter serves.
Shirley is married and has two daughters; she resides in Sparta, Wisconsin.
