Stacey Mendez

Stacey Mendez is
the Director of Technical Support Engineering for ARRIS Group, Inc. in San
Diego, CA. Her team consists of Technical Support, Deployment Engineers and
Project Managers.  As a group they are
responsible for planning and execution of customer projects, the continued
support of deployed systems and ensuring the satisfaction of ARRIS’ Programmer
customers.

Stacey is a graduate of Drexel University,
where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. During her studies at
Drexel, Stacey completed three different co-ops; SunGard, Bio-rad Laboratories
and Southern California Orthotics and Prosthetics (SCOPe).


After graduation, Stacey moved to San Diego
where she launched her career with General Instrument in the Marketing Department.  Stacey has 20 years of customer service
experience, developed through multiple roles across industries. Stacey has had
the opportunity to be at the forefront of the retail DOCSIS cable modem launch,
numerous company acquisitions, and developed the Consumer Support Business for
Motorola Home.  It is in that role where
she found her passion for the Technical Support industry.

Stacey’s leadership style is honest,
collaborative and results oriented.  She
uses her intuition to initiate and promote change, and does not allow fear or
excessive analysis to stand in her way of “doing the right thing”.   Over the years Stacey has strategically
driven change by mobilizing great teams and executing on her long range plans. Through
metric driven processes, she has been able to improve the company’s operational
performance and proactively adjust to the changing corporate landscape.

Stacey was recognized as one of Motorola’s
"Critical Talent" in a strategic role by the President and CEO.
Stacey spends her weekends with her family at the beach, hiking or cheering on
her kids from the soccer sidelines. Her goal is to continue to perfect her mom
powers and keep up with her two boys.
