Stacey Slaughter

NCTI President and CEO, Stacey Slaughter, is a member of a too-small community of women-owned businesses in the Cable/Broadband Industry. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Washington, Stacey began a 20-year career with Jones International, an affiliate of Jones Intercable, before Comcast’s acquisition in 1999. Along the way to earning a master’s degree from the University of Colorado, Stacey was promoted to controller, then CFO, for Jones International and its subsidiaries which included Jones/NCTI (NCTI), a cable/broadband training and education company.

Stacey never imagined herself as a business owner yet found herself presented with the unique opportunity to acquire NCTI in 2015. With the acquisition of NCTI, Stacey led the corporate rebrand and shifted the focus of market-facing initiatives for the organization. She piloted her team through a transformation into a flexible enterprise learning model which incorporates digital, online, and traditional learning. Today, she maintains focus on strategic vision and execution, tactical relationships with vendors and industry leaders, and aggressively growing product offerings and services.

Stacey is an active executive member of the WICT Rocky Mountain Chapter and has donated her time as a mentor in the WICT’s Mentoring program. She also serves as Board Vice President for Christians in Communications, and Associate Board member for the SCTE Rocky Mountain Chapter. Stacey is a certified public accountant and serves on the board for Delta Zeta Sorority.  She and her daughter live in Denver, Colorado.
