Stephanie Healy

Stephanie Barat Healy is the director of Public Affairs for Cox Communications. Stephanie joined Cox in 2012, where she was tasked with leading Southern Arizona’s Public Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility programs, Employee Engagement and Public Relations. She is passionate about her work protecting and promoting brands while developing and executing highly effective, multi-channeled public affairs strategies.

 

Stephanie Barat Healy is the director of Public Affairs for Cox Communications. Stephanie joined Cox in 2012, where she was tasked with leading Southern Arizona’s Public Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility programs, Employee Engagement and Public Relations. She is passionate about her work protecting and promoting brands while developing and executing highly effective, multi-channeled public affairs strategies.
Stephanie is responsible for leading and activating Cox’s brand moments in the southern Arizona market, advocating for digital equity initiatives, and building out market expansion in the southwest region.

 

In addition to her public affairs role, Stephanie leads the region’s environmental and sustainability initiatives and serves on Cox’s National Environmental Council. It’s here that she gets to blend her passion for sustainability with her day job.

 

Stephanie’s extensive expertise is drawn from diverse environments including telecommunications, health care, conservation/sustainability, government, and economic development. Previous to Cox, Stephanie was president of Hospital Council of Southern Arizona where she brought together 15 area hospitals and led a consortium to improve the region’s health care delivery system.

 

Community service includes President of the Southwest Cable & Communications Association, Board and leadership roles for Arizona Thrives, Arizona Forward, El Rio Health Center, Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, and the Tucson Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the Flinn Brown Civic Leadership Academy and a Flinn Brown Fellow. Stephanie was also honored for her work in public relations as a “Women of Influence” and was named Woman of the Year. She is a former “40 under 40” recipient and she was given the brightest star recognition for her class. Stephanie’s a passionate advocate for girls’ and women’s issues in the community.

 

Outside of work, Stephanie likes to think you would find her striking a refined yoga pose or riding her road bike but it’s much more likely she will be trying to keep up with her very active children and family. She aspires to spending more time indulging her inner chef and travel bug.
