Stephanie Monroe joined Cox Communications in 2011, as the Executive Director of Customer Retention. She was responsible for building and implementing a world class national reactive retention strategy for the company.
Currently Stephanie is the Vice President of Call Center Sales for Cox Communications; responsibilities include leading the strategic direction for sales and retention call centers. Critical role ensuring revenue plans and goals are met for our call handling groups which is approximately fifty percent of connects and disconnects for the company. These groups include, Inbound & Retention Call Center Channel Management as well as Acquisition and Upgrades via the Inbound, Care and Outbound sales channels.
Prior to Cox Communications, Stephanie was the Director of Revenue Generation at EarthLink. A key leader, catalyst and architect for EarthLink’s customer service, sales and retention call center organizations. The strategies led to multiple JD Power awards for those programs she developed and implemented. Earlier in her career, Stephanie joined Cityspree a start up internet marketing company. As National Director of Sales at Cityspree, she played a lead role in driving to the launch in more than 25 markets nationwide and launched an outside sales team to support these growth efforts.
A proven and effective leader, accomplished manager, and astute strategist, she enjoys inspiring teams to achieve their goals and objectives both personally and professionally. She has a dynamic range of exceptional call center, sales and marketing experience within high-tech industries over the past 19 years. Stephanie has traveled extensively in both Asia and US markets while developing both effective strategies and deploying best practices for sales in those locations.
A native of South Carolina, Stephanie has a B.S., Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, with a double major in Marketing and Management. Stephanie is an avid college football fan and amateur photographer. Stephanie and her husband reside in Atlanta, GA.
