Stephanie Plasse

​Stephanie Plasse serves as SVP & Associate General Counsel and head of the distribution legal group at A+E Networks.  Before joining A+E Networks, she was VP of networks business and legal affairs for HBO.  Before that, she held roles in entertainment and corporate law firms, including Greenberg Traurig LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.  Stephanie provides legal and strategic support for U.S., Canadian and Caribbean distribution of 10 A+E-owned networks including A&E, History and Lifetime, on cable, satellite, telco and alternative technology platforms. In this role, she works with the distribution negotiating team to achieve success in new deals and renewals.  She was a member of class 27 of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.  Stephanie also volunteers for the nonprofit YDN Foundation, parent foundation of the Yale Daily News, Yale University’s college newspaper.  She has a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was the President of the Stanford Law Review, and a B.A. from Yale College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and was the editor-in-chief of the Yale Daily News.  She also studied at Bonn University in Germany as a Fulbright scholar.
