Susie (Hughes) Neill is the Sr. Manager of the Government Programs team for Comcast Business based in Philadelphia, PA. In her current role, she and her team oversee 3 federal and state subsidy programs, federal government monitoring & compliance reporting and federal government third party billing. Her team is responsible for providing timely, accurate and efficient subsidy calculations to customers, maximizing revenue from federal programs, ensuring accurate billing for federal government customers, and assessing financial and operational controls for the federal government order to bill process.
Susie joined Comcast six years ago and first worked in the Corporate Accounting and Reporting group for two years. During those two years, she worked on the Real Estate team that was responsible for the accounting, forecasting, and budgeting for Comcast properties. In addition, she also gained exposure to high-level accounting transactions by working on the SEC reporting team that focused on the 10Q and 10K filings and other financial reporting. Susie joined the Comcast Business Finance Controllership organization in 2018. Prior to joining Comcast, Susie worked for 5 years in public accounting as an auditor at BDO LLP.
Susie received her B.S. degree in Accounting at King’s College and her MBA from DeSales University.
She currently resides in Conshohocken, PA with her husband. In her spare time, Susie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, staying active and has been a volunteer coach with the Philadelphia Special Olympics Swim Team since 2013.
