Suzan Persutti serves as Division Vice President, Employee Relations, Shared Services, and Safety. In her current role she leads the North East Division Shared Services team of 19 individuals tasked with providing transactional HR services to Leaders and HR professionals for the North East Division (25,000 employees). Additionally Suzy leads engagement strategies for the Division in partnership with Regional and Divisional Leaders. Key components include Leadership Development, Engagement Surveys, and Supporting Supervisor Success. Additionally she is responsible for leading the Safety Organization for the Division implementing strategies to prevent accidents and injuries and promoting visibility of Safety in the Workplace.
Previously she was Vice President of Human Resources for the Western New England Region. In this capacity, she oversaw all of the Human Resources functions, including safety, payroll, benefits, staffing and recruiting, Comcast University, and employee communications.
Suzy brings more than 20 years of experience in HR leadership to Comcast, having held previous leadership positions in the retail industry with Ames Department Stores, Jordan Marsh/Macy’s and G. Fox. Before coming to Comcast, Suzy served as the Divisional Vice President of Training, Development and Sourcing for Ames Department Stores. While with Ames, Suzy was a three-time recipient of the Ames Chairman’s Award for implementation of a college recruiting program, development of their performance management process, and their company-wide training initiative to support customer service excellence. Suzy was also recognized as Executive of the Year while at G. Fox.
Since Suzy joined Comcast in 2003, she has exhibited strong leadership support through integrations and growth, while increasing employee engagement and performance. Suzy was recognized as a key member of the Division Leadership Development project team, which designed and implemented key leadership competencies, programs and processes to support our leaders’ development needs.
Suzy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Connecticut School of Business Administration, and is past President of the Ivoryton Playhouse Foundation Board of Trustees.
