Tamara Forsmark is the Director of Business Planning for the Sierra Nevada Management Area at Charter Communications which serves over 140 communities in Nevada and California. In this role, she is the key business partner to the Area Vice President relating to all financial aspects that includes business decision support, reporting and analysis, capital and expense budget and forecasts, and headcount and capacity planning. She is accountable for managing day-to-day maintenance and infrastructure of 15 office locations, as well as ensure sites are in compliance with company safety and security protocols. She oversees the fleet management of over 700 vehicles.
Tamara’s career in the telecommunications industry began in 1982 with Group W Cable. Throughout her 36 year career, she has held various accounting/financial roles with Group W Cable, TCI, AT&T Broadband and Charter Communications.
Tamara studied Finance and Accounting at Morrison College in Reno, Nevada. Tamara was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and currently resides in Sparks, Nevada with her husband, Mark and yellow lab, Kahne. She enjoys spending time on the golf course with her husband and grown twin sons, Carter and Casey.
