Manager, Finance & Accounting Comcast
Teresa J. Harnsberger, CPA is a Finance & Accounting Manager on the Audit and Assurance Team for the Keystone Region at the Comcast Cable Corporation (Comcast). Teresa is responsible for working directly with regional leadership to identify areas of risk and consult on strategies to mitigate those risks. In her role, Teresa looks for opportunities to identify best practices and standardize processes across the region by performing audits and consulting with regional, divisional, and corporate leadership.
As an 11-year veteran of Comcast, Teresa first served as a Regional Business Operations Manager. In this role, Teresa was responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis, managing service center customer payment processing, and managing the accounts payable functions. Next, Teresa advanced to her current role as Finance & Accounting Manager on the Regional Audit and Assurance Team.
Teresa’s professional career experience is deeply rooted in both public accounting and corporate accounting. In public accounting she worked in both the audit and tax realms. Prior to joining Comcast, Teresa worked in corporate financial reporting and analyses for both the for-profit and not-for profit healthcare sectors.
For educational reference, Teresa holds a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. As well, she holds a Certified Public Accounting license and keeps current on tax, audit, and financial reporting issues.
Teresa believes in giving back to the community and helping others. This belief is something that both she and her husband strive to instill in their four children. With this in mind, Teresa and her family enjoy participating in school and community activities. Teresa is also involved in local endeavors to further both research and fundraising activities for both Autism and Parkinson’s Disease.
