Tia Seeley is the Local Sales Manager with Suddenlink Media in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In her current role, she manages a team of 5 Account Executives in the business of television and online advertising sales in Southwest Louisiana. She is responsible for establishing priorities and goals with the sales staff, and coaches the team to reach their annual market budgetary goal of 3.3 million dollars.
Tia began her professional career in the cable industry with Cox Communications in 2004 as an Account Executive. In early 2013 she was promoted to Suddenlink Media Local Sales Manager. Prior to joining Cox, Tia worked 11 years in the newspaper industry as a Senior Account Executive for the American Press.
As a Suddenlink Media Account Executive, Tia was a four time Suddenlink President’s Club winner. She was awarded the honor again as a Local Sales Manager for her team’s performance in 2014. Also in 2014, Tia was the recipient of the Suddenlink Media ‘Debby Buggs Leadership Award’. This honor is a commemorative award to a current company leader who demonstrates honesty, integrity, compassion and caring for others, embraces ‘family first’ values and develops others.
Active in the local and state advertising industry, Tia is a two time past president of the American Advertising Federation – Lake Charles Chapter. She also has served on several committees focused on raising funds for local Mass Communication and Media scholarships.
