VP, Business Affairs Turner
Tina Shah is Senior Vice President of Business Affairs, Turner Sports, and Associate General Counsel. In this capacity, the 17-year Turner veteran leads the legal team responsible for all of Turner Sports’ linear and digital businesses including, the NBA, NCAA, MLB, UEFA and PGA, Bleacher Report and ELEAGUE, and oversees a diverse legal practice that includes the negotiation of rights agreements with league partners, talent agreements, sales and sponsorships, content production/clearances, the structure of business initiatives, and a wide range of technology and digital deals. Shah also works closely with the Turner Sports leadership team to identify, explore and evaluate new business opportunities surrounding the division’s multimedia rights agreements and provide strategic counsel on business initiatives.
Shah has served on the leadership committee of Turner Women Today, one of Turner’s business resource groups, an adjunct professor at University of Georgia School of Law and a WICT and Sports Lawyers Association member.
Prior to joining Turner, Shah was an associate at Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, Georgia, focusing on general commercial litigation. Shah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University.
