Toni Murphy

On January 10, 2021, Toni Murphy made Comcast history with her appointment as Top Regional Executive for the Keystone Region of Comcast Cable Division—the first African American female ever appointed to this position in the Company’s history. In her new role, Toni is responsible for the organization’s operational, strategic, and financial performance across 4 states (Pennsylvania, W. Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland)—a $4B business segment for Comcast. Based in Pittsburgh, she leads an incredible team of 3,000 sales, marketing, and operations professionals who delight consumers with our residential and business products and services.

In addition to these core responsibilities, Toni sits on the Northeast Division Diversity & Inclusion Council and serves as the Executive Sponsor for the Northeast Division Veteran’s Network Employee Resource Group (VetNet ERG). For both organizations, she is implementing strategies to hire, retain, and develop the next generation of diverse talent within Comcast.

Over her 20-year career journey, Toni has held a variety of positions, both inside and outside of Comcast. She began her career as a financial analyst at UBS Investment Bank, focused on the cable/satellite and broadcasting sectors.

Toni is a graduate of Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in French and Economics. In her spare time, Toni is a jazz singer, who enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Craig Murphy, and their three beautiful children, LilyJin, Blaise, and London
