Tracy Barash

​Tracy Barash is vice president of Global Franchise Management for Turner’s Cartoon Network and Boomerang network.  In this capacity, Barash is responsible for developing strategic plans for key network brands such as The Powerpuff Girls, We Bare Bears and the upcoming re-launch of Ben 10, to maximize revenue across platforms for long-term growth. From 2008 through 2014, she was vice president of Brand Development for Cartoon Network and Boomerang. She played a leadership role on the Cartoon Network and Boomerang global rebrands and oversaw pro-social marketing programs, including the award-winning Stop Bullying: Speak Up

 

Previously at Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Tracy was director of global themed entertainment.  She was a key member of the team that launched The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, and managed the development of Harry Potter: The Exhibition global museum tour.  As director of worldwide marketing for the division, Tracy managed development of brand strategy, marketing plans and collateral materials supporting Harry Potter and other family-targeted theatrical and television properties.

 

Prior to Warner Bros., Tracy served as a brand director for Diageo, the global leader in beverage alcohol, where she oversaw marketing strategy and execution for brands such as Smirnoff Vodka, Malibu Rum and Jose Cuervo Tequila.  Over her tenure, she served as a director of portfolio marketing and as director of national brand marketing for Baileys Irish Cream.

 

Barash holds a MBA in marketing from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, and serves on the Goizueta Alumni Board.  Her bachelor’s degree is in business from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.  Tracy is president-elect of the Syracuse University Alumni Association Board.
