VP, Distribution Marketing A+E Networks
Tracy Powell is Vice President of Distribution Marketing, A+E Networks. Powell is an innovative and strategic executive responsible for overseeing all aspects of content distribution marketing across platforms for A+E Networks which includes A&E® Network, Lifetime®, HISTORY®, LMN®, bio.®, H2™, HISTORY en Español™, Crime & Investigation Network®, Military HISTORY® and LRW™.
In this role, Powell has a dual focus; to oversee the development, implementation and management of MVPD-specific marketing strategies in support of distribution efforts and to harness promotional opportunities that drive consumer engagement across platforms. She collaborates across the company to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that showcase the value of A+E Networks services; from using social media for mutually-beneficial partnerships and creative content packaging to drive viewing in a TV Everywhere world to developing brand immersion events for clients and executing pro-social initiatives.
2013 marks Tracy’s 20th year in the cable television industry. Previous positions have included Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for the K2 Marketing Group, Vice President of Ad Sales & Distribution Marketing for Lifetime Entertainment Services and Director of Affiliate Marketing at Fox Family Worldwide. Tracy began her career at Turner Broadcasting System as a CNN Tour Guide.
A graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Tracy resides in Maplewood, NJ with her husband and three daughters. In her spare time, she is advocate for breast cancer patients and a certified CrossFit coach.
