Vanilynne Gulla

Vanilynne Gulla comes with 13 years’ experience in consumer research in both consultancy and corporate capacities, across a variety of industries, though her passion has always been in media and entertainment. Currently, she works across the A+E Networks portfolio to uncover viewership hooks for new and returning series, determine optimal paths to network engagement, uncover white space opportunities for programming and consumer products, and ensure consumers have a voice during strategic milestone conversations via consumer primary and syndicated research. Her first foray to entertainment was early on in her career, where she conducted pilot and series maintenance tests for Disney’s preschool and tween programs – and it was from that point that she was clear she wanted her career to be focused on entertainment. Just prior to her role at A+E, she also managed consumer research for entertainment licensed preschool brands at Mattel, and headed research for both entertainment and consumer products at BBC Worldwide. She holds an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, where she concentrated in Global Marketing.
