Verba Brown

Verba Brown is Vice-President of Care for Comcast Atlanta Region.  Verba’s focus is on delivering a superior customer service experience across all product lines.  Responsibilities include overseeing the day- to- day operations and leading the employees in the Atlanta Region call centers.

Verba has more than 29 years of cable industry experience in technical operations, dispatch and customer care.  Most recently, she served as Vice President of Operations aka “General” of the Atlanta Revolution, an initiative that focuses on improving process improvement opportunities around reducing calls into the call centers and repair truck rolls in the field.

Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Operations, where she led 400 plus employees in the areas of technical operations, construction, dispatch and human resources for the Atlanta North system. She also served as Director of Support Operations. In this role, she managed the capital budget, processes, metrics, contractor management, quota and routing.

In 2004, Verba accepted the challenge of aligning the call centers with the goals and objectives of the region as Senior Director of Customer Care. She did an incredible job of building a foundation, so that the call centers could support new products and meet our customers’ expectations. She was instrumental in opening the North Point Call Center, transitioning the Lakeridge Call Center to a full sales and retention center, and marrying the call center and technical operation cultures to better serve our customers.

Verba is on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of the North Central Georgia Division and on the Board of Directors for the Walton County Chamber of Commerce.  She has been a mentor for Pathbuilders, mentoring women in Supervisor and Manager positions.

Verba is currently completing her studies at the University of Atlanta.  She and her husband live on 18 acres in Walton County, Gerogia and have an organic farm which they started in 2010.  She has one Son, one Stepson and three wonderful Grandchildren, one Great Dane and one Goldendoodle.
