Head of Business Ops & Strategy FreeWheel (Comcast)
Ying Wang is the Head of Business Operations & Strategy at FreeWheel, a Comcast company. She leads a team responsible for developing the company’s multi-year strategic and annual operating plans, which define the priorities and drive the activities of 1,400 employees globally. She also oversees the evaluation of new business opportunities and runs a central program management function. Ying is focused on finding new ways to help the company run better, through improving communication, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
She previously served as the Director of Advisory Services at FreeWheel, where she built up a professional services team to grow ad revenue, improve viewer experience, and transform sales processes for large media companies. She also led the development of thought leadership publications and presented at industry events, including New York Ad Week. Prior to FreeWheel, Ying advised large retail and consumer goods companies in the US and Europe as a management consultant for Oliver Wyman.
Ying is a graduate of Harvard University and The Wharton Business School / Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in southern CT with her husband Patrick and their two daughters.
