Zania Sala

Zania Sala started her career at Viacom as an intern for the Music and Talent department. She later became the Assistant to the MTV Customizations department and later became Associate Producer for the localization of Nickelodeon content. In 2008 she started working for the Media and Technology Services department.

Zania is currently the Senior Manager of Media Services at Viacom International Media Networks, The Americas. She was a pioneer in the development and logistics of day-to-day long form digital delivery for broadcast and across all Latin American regions. In the process of strategizing the deliverables for all brands including MTV, VH1, VH1 HD, Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon HD, Tr3s and Comedy Central, Zania learned the power and reach of media asset management and it wasn’t long before Digital went global for Latin America. Currently, Zania leads a team of 11 employees who carry out thousands of requests for International digital transfers on a yearly basis. In the past three years, Zania was also involved in the planning of the Video On Demand service operations. Clients such as Netflix, Hulu, Netmovies and Sky Brazil have curated a combination of content serviced by Latin America’s Media Services team.

Zania graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with a degree in Music Business and Management. She lives in Miami with her husband and enjoys traveling, finding treasures in thrift shops and reading Coastal Living Magazine.
