WICT offers fellowships to the WICT Leadership Conference. The 2017 conference was held September 25-26 at the New York Marriott Marquis.
The WICT Leadership Conference is the renowned leadership development event for the cable industry. Through inspiring keynote speakers and innovative workshops covering a variety of topics, as well as connecting with industry colleagues, attendees will be immersed in leadership activities that will help to impact their bottom line. Coordinator, Brand Distribution Operations
Caine Dvoskin started her career in television as the On-Air Scheduling Assistant for truTV in New York City. She was promoted within Turner in 2014 and moved to Atlanta to work in her current position as Brand Distribution Operations Coordinator for Turner Content Distribution. Caine has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Enterprise Management from Wake Forest University, where she concentrated in Arts and Entertainment Marketing. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Emory University. Caine has been very involved with WICT Southeast, serving as Red Letter Awards Nominations Chair in 2015, Special Events Director in 2016 and participating in the annual mentoring program each year.
Senior Product Sales Manager
Debra Goulding is approaching her 21th year with Comcast. She started as a Customer Service Representative and quickly worked her way through several aspects of the business including Operations Support Coach, Residential Sales Supervisor and Outbound Sr. Sales Manager. Debra has spent the last 9 years as a Sr. Sales Manager in the Business Services Group. In this capacity Debra is responsible for driving the sales activity to optimize the performance of the Business Sales channel in the division’s center of excellence. She collaborates with regions and other functional groups to develop, coordinate, and implement best practices relating to sales effectiveness and processes. Before Comcast Debra has worked as an Administrative assistant at Calvin Klein and MIT Lincoln Labs.
Debra has been a member of WICT New England since 2011. Her desire to become more involved with WICT has led her to her first position on the Board. She is also a Board Member of the Comcast Women’s Network Group. Debra lives in Nashua NH with her Family and is involved in Breast Cancer awareness and fund raising.
Employee Relations Manager
Helen Teutsch is an employee engagement and employee relations manager for Comcast's Central Division, supporting over 5,000 employees in the Heartland region. She has a passion for investigating escalated employee concerns and delivering engagement and labor training to leadership. She has been a coordinator for several initiatives with Comcast including Great Place to Work, Comcast Cares Day (community volunteer event) and United Way. Helen is also an active member of Comcast's Employee Resource Groups. Helen also worked as a human resource generalist with Comcast in West Michigan. She has been with Comcast since 2008. Prior to Comcast Helen worked for the home improvement industry in human resources.
Helen has been a member of the WICT Great Lakes chapter since 2009 and a board member for the past four years. On the programming committee she has led many events including an industry panel luncheon on cloud technology, a leadership awards luncheon and a WICT bowling fundraiser. Helen also served on the chapter's membership committee and increased membership by 36 percent in her area. This year she took on the membership committee lead and her team executed 6 successful membership drives across the Great Lakes footprint.
Helen graduated cum laude from Ball State University with a bachelors of science in human resources management with a minor in music performance. She lives in Michigan with her family. Helen hopes to raise two bold and self-empowered ladies, Nora and Daphne, with the help of her husband Bob.
Helen is proud to be the Lucille Larkin Fellowship recipient for 2017.
Katie Colton is Programming Supervisor at NESN (New England Sports Network), the TV home of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. In her role, Katie is responsible for overseeing the program schedule, tracking and analyzing Nielsen ratings, and serving as a liaison to third-party produced shows.
Katie first joined NESN in 2012 as a Programming Intern and was hired to stay on as a Production Assistant. She was promoted to Graphics Operator in 2014 and joined the Programming team full time in 2015. In addition to her role as Programming Supervisor, Katie co-chairs the annual NESN Baseball Tournament, which is a tournament for 80+ special needs athletes and is a member of NESN’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Katie has held leadership positions for numerous organizations, most notably serving as Young Alumni Trustee to Bryant University, her alma mater, from 2012-2015. Katie currently sits on the National Alumni Council at Bryant University and has served as Marketing Chair for the New England Chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications. She is a mentor with Big Sisters of Rhode Island and volunteers weekly serving meals at New England Center & Home for Veterans.
Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Bryant University and resides in Waltham, Massachusetts. She is an amateur boxer and is currently training for her first marathon, which she is running in October to raise funds for the New England Center & Home for Veterans.
