The WICT Touchstones Luncheon showcases the value of diversity and recognizes women who are paving the way for tomorrow’s generation of leaders. Among the honors to be presented are the Woman of the Year and Woman to Watch awards, WICT’s highest individual accolades. The Touchstones Luncheon boasts a sold-out crowd of more than 1,100 professionals.
Looking Back at 2019:
The Broadway Ballroom was filled to capacity during the Touchstones Luncheon on Monday, September 16. AMC Networks returned for the 8th year in a row as the Premier Sponsor of the Luncheon. The program began with an artists panel, featuring Meredith MacNeill and Jennifer Whalen, co-creators and stars of IFC’s Baroness von Sketch Show. Honorary Chair of the luncheon, Georgia Juvelis, members of the WICT Global Board of Directors and EVP & Co-Head, Corporate Communications, AMC Networks, led the conversation, during which the two comic actors discussed challenges and opportunities they faced when developing their show. Their goal was to represent women as multi-faceted and break away from the typical depictions of women over 40 on television.
