The WICT Florida Mentoring Program connects women in top-level industry positions with a mentee to share wisdom, provide support, listen, and ultimately develop a mutually beneficial relationship based on trust, respect, and honest communication.
Interested candidates can complete the information below in order to be paired with a WICT Florida Mentor who best fits the needs of each mentee.
Please submit the completed application no later than June 9, 2017. Candidates will be notified of additional program details by June 16, 2017.

- Three Virtual WebEx Book Club Chats will occur between August - October 2017.We offer two convenient times to meet per chat: Lunch time 12:00-1:00 pm and evening 5:30-6:30 pm virtual chats.
- Reading pace outline will be provided to the Book Club Members.
The author, Val Grubb, will be joining us during the last virtual Book Club chat to answer your questions!

WICT Florida won the 2016 Programming Chapter of the Year Award! Competing among all Chapter's in the nation, WICT Florida came in First Place!

WICT Florida Chapter Awarded 2016 "Inspire and Others Will Follow" Award
WICT Florida has been honored with the Inspire and Others Will Follow Award, which
honors chapters who helped their members achieve their full potential by
achieving 90 or more points on the 2016 WICT Model Chapter Business Plan.
The WICT Chapter awards measure important aspects of the Model
Chapter Business Plan (MCBP), and chapters earn points for performance that
meets or exceeds guidelines laid out in the MCBP.

Marva Johnson, WICT Florida Chapter Advisor
Marva Johnson, Vice President of State Government Affairs for Charter's South Region, will be serving as Vice Chair for the WICT National Board of Directors. She will become the organization's Chair in 2018. Marva was also named a "Woman to Watch" by Multichannel News Magazine.
We would like to offer a sincere thank you to Marva for her continued commitment to our Florida Chapter. Her experience and insight serves as an important benefit to our Chapter's overall mission and strategy, and we sincerely appreciate her time and effort.
