Call for Board Nominations

The WICT Greater Texas Board of Directors has positions open for several enthusiastic and aspiring industry leaders. We've engaged a succession planning committee to fill these positions and develop a forward thinking approach to future board development. Made up of experienced WICT-GTX representatives from several member companies, the group will review nominations and visit with candidates before recommending a slate of talented leaders to join the board.

Board positions have two-year limits, which provide a unique opportunity to build and enhance professional and networking skills while helping members grow professionally. If you are looking for an opportunity to bolster your career and network with your peers in our fast paced industry, a board position might be the perfect fit.

Our board needs self-starters to bring forward-thinking ideas plus the skills and passion needed to implement them. Are you willing to be a part of this dynamic group of leaders?

Open Board Positions include: Secretary, Programming Chair, Sponsorship Co-Chair and Lone Star Awards Event Chair. Please read the job descriptions and eligibilities for each position and submit a nomination by Friday, August 5th, 2016.

Ready to nominate yourself or a fellow WICT GTX member who demonstrates the skills and qualities needed? Here's your checklist to submit a nomination:

  • Read job descriptions and identify which position you are interested in Here
  • Complete the Board Service Questionnaire (including your manager's approval).
  • Email your nomination by Friday, August 5th, including name, contact information, resume and Board Service Questionnaire to Andrea Nelson, Succession Committee Chair, (andrea.nelson@suddenlink.com).
