Tell the story about why you’re a member. Why did you join? What was the most compelling message about WICT that made you want to join? If there was a person who influenced your decision to join, why did his/her opinion matter?
Provide examples. A positive testimonial is one of the strongest tools. Prospective members will be much more likely to join if they can relate to how you have benefited from membership. Describe how membership has helped you advance personally or professionally via the relationships you have developed through WICT.
Appeal to their goodwill. Do they know WICT advocates for gender diversity? With the mission to create women leaders who transform our industry, our professional development programs and B2B network have helped to advance women for the past 40 years. Make sure they are aware of all the ways the WICT provides life-changing support for women in our industry.
