Washington, DC - Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced the release of its Path to PAR gender diversity report. Path to PAR provides additional findings on the WICT 2015 PAR employment survey and showcases outside research on diversity and inclusion best practices. The 2016/2017 report reiterates the growing case for gender diversity as a business imperative.
WICT's PAR employment survey is conducted biennially. In the period between surveys, WICT provides resources and materials to assist companies with honing their diversity and inclusion tactics. In addition to Path to PAR reports, WICT conducts a series of webinars called "PAR at Work," which provides detailed information on the data gathered through the PAR survey and related tools to help recruit, retain and advance women in their careers.
The WICT PAR Initiative is underwritten by the Walter Kaitz Foundation and supported by WICT's 20 domestic chapters.
"WICT is proud to work with our industry partners to promote strategies and tactics that support the business benefits of gender diversity and inclusion," stated Maria E. Brennan, CAE, President & CEO of WICT. "The PAR Initiative is a collaborative effort to leverage data in order to advance women and the industry at large."
