WICT Now Accepting Applications for 2022 Rising Leaders Program

WICT is now accepting applications for its highly-regarded Rising Leaders Program. Applications for all nine 2022 classes will be accepted through 1:00 pm (Eastern) on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

Applications for 180 Seats Accepted Through October 20, 2021

Washington, DC – Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) announced that it is now accepting applications for 180 seats in its highly-regarded Rising Leaders Program. Applications for all nine 2022 classes will be accepted online at www.wict.org/programs/application/ and must be received no later than 1:00 pm (Eastern) on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

WICT’s Rising Leaders Program (RLP) is designed for industry professionals at the manager and director level who have demonstrated their potential as well as their desire for leadership and career advancement. During this intensive immersion program, participants will take part in leadership analysis and case study work while expanding their cable business acumen. Created in 2006 with grant assistance from the Walter Kaitz Foundation, the program has more than doubled in size since it began due to overwhelming interest within the cable media industry.

The nine classes will be split by geographic regions and timeframes for the convenience of class participants as noted below. Program details, including the application and fees, are available on WICT’s website at www.wictrlp.org

  • April 3 – 8, 2022 (Denver, CO)
  • May 15 – 20, 2022 (San Diego, CA)
  • Fall Date and Location TBD

Upon completion of the program, participants will know how to:

  • Leverage key management tools to build and develop high-performance teams.
  • Utilize advanced tactical and strategic methods to maximize organizational impact.
  • Map the landscape, build alliances and become an effective advocate.
  • Assess diverse leadership styles and align team competencies to exceed organizational goals.
  • Create and manage a personalized leadership development plan.
