"If we want to achieve our goal, then let us empower ourselves with the weapon of knowledge and let us shield ourselves with unity and togetherness,"

– Malala Yousafzai (Pakistani activist for female education
and the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate)

On International Women’s Day, we are inspired by the extraordinary fearlessness of women around the world, communicating their full human potential despite difficult odds. They are the catalysts to women’s empowerment and equal opportunity.

We commend Malala Yousafzai and all those leading the way, for knowing themselves and discovering the breadth of their courage and tenacity. Around the world, women are connecting to gather their voices, in unison and solidarity. We listen to those powerful voices traveling the globe and watch as attempts to silence them only magnify their resonance.

WICT applauds the theme of this International Women’s Day, as we fearlessly support the pledge to parity for humankind.
