The WICT Network announced FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, the first woman ever confirmed to the role, will address attendees at The WICT Network’s annual Touchstones Luncheon. The event will be held Monday, October 10 at the New York Marriott Marquis, the opening day of The WICT Network’s Leadership Conference, which kicks off Diversity Week 2022.

The Touchstones Luncheon will be held October 10 in New York City as part of The WICT Network’s 2022 Leadership Conference.

Washington, DC – The WICT Network announced today FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, the first woman ever confirmed to the role, will address attendees at The WICT Network’s annual Touchstones Luncheon. The event will be held Monday, October 10 at the New York Marriott Marquis, the opening day of The WICT Network’s Leadership Conference, which kicks off Diversity Week 2022.

“We are delighted to welcome Chairwoman Rosenworcel as the opening speaker for our 2022 Leadership Conference Touchstones Luncheon, which honors the superlative achievements of our industry’s most influential women,” said Maria E. Brennan, CAE, President & CEO of The WICT Network. “With two decades of experience in the policy and public service sectors, the Chairwoman is a seasoned communications professional and tireless advocate for equality. Her opening remarks will set the stage as we celebrate the many accomplishments of women leaders in media, entertainment and technology.”

Held as part of The WICT Network’s multi-day Leadership Conference, the Touchstones Luncheon showcases the value of diversity and recognizes women who are paving the way for tomorrow’s generation of leaders. Among the honors to be presented are the 2022 Women of the Year and Women to Watch awards, The WICT Network’s highest individual accolades. All Leadership Conference registrants receive a ticket to the Touchstones Luncheon as part of their registration.

Rockefeller IV and Senator Daniel Inouye. Before entering public service, Jessica practiced communications law in Washington, DC.

She is a native of Hartford, Connecticut. She is a graduate of Wesleyan University and New York University School of Law. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and two children.
