Washington, DC – Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today proudly announced its 2017 Touchstone Partners.
WICT’s Strategic Touchstone Partners, a select group of leading cable media corporations, demonstrate their commitment to gender diversity through this top level of year-round support of WICT’s professional development programs, research projects and advocacy initiatives. This year’s partners include Comcast NBCUniversal, Charter Communications and Turner.
WICT’s Catalyst Touchstone Partners serve as key champions of the organization and help ensure WICT is better able to deliver on its mission of creating women leaders who transform our industry. These distinguished companies include Accenture, AMC Networks, ARRIS, Cox Communications, Disney and ESPN Media Networks and Scripps Networks Interactive.
WICT initiatives are also made possible through the support of this year’s Inspire Touchstone Partners, which include A+E Networks, Altice USA, Cisco, Discovery Communications, HBO, Neustar and TV One. Altice USA is the newest addition to WICT’s core group of supporters.
In addition, grants from the Walter Kaitz Foundation support various gender diversity initiatives and educational scholarships to WICT programs. The Walter Kaitz Foundation is a chief advocate of diversity and inclusion and a valued Industry Partner of WICT.
Several companies also supported WICT’s international growth. They include: Discovery Communications, Liberty Global and Scripps Networks Interactive.
