This year’s Betsy Magness Graduate Institute was one-and-a-half days of leadership training that gave a powerful new framework for energizing and inspiring those around you. Created in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership and Stone Lake Leadership Group, Inspirational Leadership is a next-level skill that draws out top organizational performance. This critical proficiency energizes teams, fosters engagement and accountability, and helps establish team trust.

The program included the latest research on effective leadership characteristics, an interactive learning environment, the sharing of best practices, and – back by popular demand – BMGI roundtable discussions with the industry’s top thought-leaders. These leaders included:

  • Maria Arias, VP, Diversity & Inclusion, Comcast
  • Cathy Avgiris, EVP & CFO, Comcast
  • LD Bennett, Faculty, Center for Creative Leadership
  • Ann Carlsen, Founder & CEO, Carlsen Resources
  • Shannon Cassidy, Founder & CEO, Bridge Between
  • Sandy Howe, SVP, Global Marketing, ARRIS
  • Gail MacKinnon, EVP & Chief Government Relations Officer, Time Warner Cable
  • Beth Main, SVP | Domestic Network Distribution, HBO
  • Juliette Morris, EVP, Marketing, NBCUniversal
  • Tonia O’Connor, President, Distribution Sales & Marketing, Univision
  • Dane Snowden, Chief of Staff, NCTA
  • Martha Soehren, Chief Talent Development Officer & SVP, Comcast
  • Alex Swan, Senior Director of Global Industry Events and Relations, ARRIS
