The Tech It Out Conference is designed to bring together thought-leaders in technology from both inside and outside the cable industry. Speakers shared their insights on leadership development with our target audience of women and people of color. In addition to a panel discussion, the Tech It Out Conference allows dedicated time for leadership training, as well as a guided group tour of select SCTE exhibits.
Darcy Antonellis, CEO, VUBIQUITY delivered the opening Keynote
The program featured a panel of experts who explored the intersection between leadership and technology. Moderated by Marva Johnson, Corporate VP, Government & Industry Affairs at Bright House Networks, panelists included Maggie Bellville, VP, U.S. Communications, Media & Entertainment Industry, Hitachi Consulting Corp; Sandra K. Howe, SVP, Global Marketing, ARRIS; and 2015 Women in Technology Award honoree, Vibha Rustagi, President & CEO, itaas, Inc., a Cognizant company.
Mark Dzuban, President/CEO of SCTE concluded the Tech It Out Conference with closing remarks that addressed the need for more gender and ethnic diversity in cable technology.
WICT’s Tech It Out Initiative was launched in 2009 with a goal to create strong women leaders in technology, while also raising awareness about the vast opportunities for women in cable technology.
