As leaders take on roles of greater influence within their organizations, authenticity and the ability to inspire trust among peers and followers is critical to success. And yet, inspirational leadership can be elusive with high performers – risking burnout or reliance on routine and habit. Authentic leaders share common traits from a clear sense of mission and self-awareness to the ability to find common ground among others. These traits build trust, cooperation, and an environment of both support and challenge, helping to create a healthy organization.
As leaders take on roles of greater influence within their organizations, authenticity and the ability to inspire trust among colleagues is critical to success. Over this two-and-a-half day program, participants learn and practice strategies to build relationships in business, manage differences among peers, and tap into their power so they can lead with vision and clarity. This program is unique in that the power of the leader is assumed to be based on authenticity. With greater clarity of core values and strengths, leaders increase their impact, inspiring themselves and others to contribute their greatest gifts. Through lecture, group exercises, peer feedback, and deeply personal reflection, participants increase self-awareness of their priorities and unique abilities. On the final day, participants bring all elements together as they develop a tailored action plan

The panel discussion, integrated into the learning experience, addresses personal and professional journeys of industry leaders. While touching on the current state of the industry and expectations for the future, panelists will also share personal insights into the skills required for overcoming obstacles to achieve success in the workplace. Panelists include Brittany Esparza, SVP, Distribution, The Weather Channel Television Network; Kathy Fox, VP, Customer & Technician Experience, Comcast; and Leigh Woisard, member of the WICT Board of Directors and SVP, Public Affairs, Cox Communications.
You will need to arrive in Cary, NC on the evening of Monday, March 27. The EDS program begins at 8:30 am on Tuesday, March 28 and concludes on Thursday, March 30 at 12:00 pm. We urge you not to plan your departure flight before 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 30.
